- Candidates born between 02.01.1993 and 01.01.2005 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post.
Qualifications
Must have passed the Plus Two Examination or its equivalent.
Physical Qualification
- Must not be less than 165 cms in height and 81 cms round the chest with a minimum expansion of 5 cms.
Note: In the case of candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes the minimum height shall be 160 cms and the minimum chest measurement shall be 76 cms with a minimum expansion of 5 cms.
Physique & Eye sight :
- Distant Vision: 6/6 Snellen (Left Eye & Right Eye)
- Near Vision: 0.5 Snellen (Left Eye & Right Eye)
Endurance Test:
Must qualify in the Endurance Test of completing 2.5 kilometres race within 13 minutes.
Physical Efficiency Test :
All candidates must qualify in any of the five events out of the eight specified below in the National Physical Efficiency Test.
- 100 Metres Run - 14 Seconds
- High Jump - 132.20 cm
- Long Jump - 457.20 cm
- Putting the Shot (7264 gms) - 609.60 cm
- Throwing the Cricket Ball - 6096 cm
- Rope Climbing(only with hands) - 365.80 cm
- Pull-ups or chinning - 8 times
- 1500 Metres Run - 5 Minutes & 44 seconds
