Age limit(As on 01-01-2025):
18-27 years
The crucial date for age reckoning is fixed as 01-01 2026 in accordance with the Page 4 of 89 provisions of DoP&T OM No. 140l7 /70/87-Estt.(RR) dated 14-07-1988. Age limit for the posts is 18-27 years, i.e. Candidates born not before 02-01-1999 and not later than 01-01-2008 are eligible to apply.

NOTE: The Commission will not insist on candidates producing OBC certificate issued within crucial/cut-off date. The candidature of OBC candidate will remain provisional, subject to verification of his/her claim by the Appointing Authority.
Essential Educational Qualifications(As on 01-01-2026):
12th Standard or equivalent examination
1. For Data Entry Operator (DEO)/ DEO Grade ‘A’ in Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, Ministry of Culture and Staff Selection Commission: 12th Standard pass in Science stream with Mathematics as a subject from a recognized Board or equivalent.
2. For LDC/JSA and DEO/DEO Grade ‘A’ (except DEOs in Department/ Ministry mentioned at Para 8.1 above): Candidates must have passed 12th standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.
