Age limit
23–36;
- Candidates born between 02.01.1988 and 01.01.2001 (both dates included) only are eligible to apply for this post.
Qualifications
SSLC or its equivalent examination recognized by Government of India or the Government of Kerala.
Physical Qualification
- Height: Must not be less than 168 cm.
- Chest: Minimum of 81 cm round the chest and must have an expansion of a Minimum of 5 cm.
Note: Minimum height measurement of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates shall be 160 cm. But no relaxation in chest expansion of 5 cm shall be allowed for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates.
Physique & Eye sight :
- Distant Vision: 6/6 Snellen (Left Eye & Right Eye)
- Near Vision: 0.5 Snellen (Left Eye & Right Eye)
Physical Efficiency Test :
All candidates must qualify in any of the five events out of the eight specified below in the National Physical Efficiency Test.
- 100 Metres Run - 14 Seconds
- High Jump - 132.20 cm
- Long Jump - 457.20 cm
- Putting the Shot (7264 gms) - 609.60 cm
- Throwing the Cricket Ball - 6096 cm
- Rope Climbing(only with hands) - 365.80 cm
- Pull-ups or chinning - 8 times
- 1500 Metres Run - 5 Minutes & 44 seconds
