Eligibility: Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination conducted by Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala or Examination equivalent thereto as approved by Kerala University of Health Sciences, Thrissur. Candidates should have separate minimum marks for Physics, Chemistry and Biology and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology put together. Applicants should have completed 17 years of age on 31.12.2023. Upper age limit is 35 years as on 31.12.2023.

Selection: Candidate to 50% of seats for B.Sc Nursing Course will be filled up by the Govt. from state merit and the remaining 50%of seats will be filled up by the management of the college of which 35%of total seats will be filled up from the rank list for management quota and 15% of the total seats will be filled up by the management from Non Resident India NRI quota rank list.

The KVASU came into existence on 14th June, 2010, as per Ordinance number 44/2010 and later Act 3/2011 of the Government of Kerala. The establishment is also the result of the recognition of the need to advance animal production sector activities and to widen the arena of academic opportunities, applied research and entrepreneurship in the field of animal health, production and allied subjects. The University is a public funded University with headquarters at Pookode, Wayanad, and the powers of the University are vested in its authorities –the Management Council and the Board of Management. The university has called up for admission 2023-2024 in B.Sc. (Poultry Production and Business Management).

Eligibility: For B.Sc. (Poultry Production and Business Management) 50 % marks in Plus two or VHSE of any stream.

Selection: The University will publish a rank list based on the marks secured by the candidates in the Entrance Examination conducted by the University at College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Mannuthy, Thrissur and College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Pookode, Wayanad. The selection for the BSc will be done from the corresponding rank list according to the rank, options and the reservation policies persist, through offline allotment process.
