Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST), situated at Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, is a Deemed to be University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956. IIST, established in 2007, functions as an autonomous institution under the Department of Space (DoS), Government of India. IIST was conceived with a vision to nurture exceptional human resource for the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), one of the world’s leading scientific organizations engaged in space research and space applications. The institute currently offers three undergraduate programmes 4- year B.Tech in Aerospace Engineering (AE), 4-year B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) (Avionics), 5-year Dual Degree (B.Tech and MaSter of Science/M.Tech) Programme (DD).

Eligibility: Candidates must have secured at least 75% aggregate marks in the Class XII (or equivalent – see below for list of Qualifying Examinations) Board examination. The aggregate marks for SC, ST and PD candidates should be at least 65%. The marks scored in the following five subjects will be considered for calculating the aggregate marks: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and language (if the candidate has taken more than one language, then the language with the higher marks will be considered). Any subject other than the above four (the subject with the highest marks will be considered). Candidates should have appeared for the Joint Entrance Examination (Main)-2023 conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA), to qualify themselves to appear for the Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced) - 2023 conducted by IITs and secure the minimum prescribed marks reported in the Information Brochure.

Selection: Candidates who are desirous to join the Undergraduate and Dual Degree Programmes offered by IIST are required to apply separately to IIST through the online application portal. Candidates whose names appear in IIST Admission Rank List are required to fill in their choice of branch in order of preference for the Undergraduate and Dual Degree Programmes during time of registration.

An application fee of Rs. 600/- for male candidates who belong to General/ EWS/ OBC-NCL for female candidates Rs. 300/- who belong to General/ EWS/ OBC-NCL and for All SC/ ST/ PD candidates Rs. 300/- should be paid through e-payment mode. Post Graduate Diploma in Coffee Quality Management

B.Sc. Poultry Production and Business Management at Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University

The KVASU came into existence on 14th June, 2010, as per Ordinance number 44/2010 and later Act 3/2011 of the Government of Kerala. The University hence is the product of continuous and genuine pursuit and sustained dream of many people, who initiated the efforts since the mid-nineties. The establishment is also the result of the recognition of the need to advance animal production sector activities and to widen the arena of academic opportunities, applied research and entrepreneurship in the field of animal health, production and allied subjects. The University is a public funded University with headquarters at Pookode, Wayanad, and the powers of the University are vested in its authorities –the Management Council and the Board of Management. The university has called up for admission 2023-2024 in B.Sc. (Poultry Production and Business Management).

Eligibility: For B.Sc. (Poultry Production and Business Management) 50 % marks in Plus two or VHSE of any stream.

Selection: The University will publish a rank list based on the marks secured by the candidates in the Entrance Examination conducted by the University at College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Mannuthy, Thrissur and College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Pookode, Wayanad. The selection for the BSc will be done from the corresponding rank list according to the rank, options and the reservation policies persist, through offline allotment process. The students have to attend the counselling process on the date notified by the University in the rank list.
