The College of Paramedical Sciences affiliated to Kerala University of Health Sciences offers Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT)and Bachelor of Science- Medical Laboratory Technology (B.Sc MLT) courses with an annual intake of 30 students.

Eligibility: Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination conducted by Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala or Examination equivalent thereto as approved by Kerala University of Health Sciences, Thrissur. Candidates should have separate minimum marks for Physics, Chemistry and Biology and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology put together. Candidates belonging to SC/ST category need only a pass in the Qualifying Examinations.

Selection: Applications will be received online only for the management and NRI quota seats and separate rank list will be prepared for each. Any other mode of application shall not be entertained and will be rejected. Candidates to 50% of seats will be filled up by the Govt. from state merit and the remaining 50% of seats will be filled up by the management of the college of which 35% of total seats will be filled up from the rank list for management quota and 15% of the total seats will be filled up by the management from NON Resident India NRI quota rank list. BPT and B.Sc rank list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by candidates for Physics, Chemistry, Biology put together at the final year of the qualifying examinations. The rank list will be published on the college website.

The KVASU came into existence on 14th June, 2010, as per Ordinance number 44/2010 and later Act 3/2011 of the Government of Kerala. The establishment is also the result of the recognition of the need to advance animal production sector activities and to widen the arena of academic opportunities, applied research and entrepreneurship in the field of animal health, production and allied subjects. The University is a public funded University with headquarters at Pookode, Wayanad, and the powers of the University are vested in its authorities –the Management Council and the Board of Management. The university has called up for admission 2023-2024 in B.Sc. (Poultry Production and Business Management).

Eligibility: For B.Sc. (Poultry Production and Business Management) 50 % marks in Plus two or VHSE of any stream.

Selection: The University will publish a rank list based on the marks secured by the candidates in the Entrance Examination conducted by the University at College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Mannuthy, Thrissur and College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Pookode, Wayanad. The selection for the BSc will be done from the corresponding rank list according to the rank, options and the reservation policies persist, through offline allotment process.
