Calicut University offers various programs at the undergraduate level in the streams of Arts, Science, Engineering, Law, Management, among others. The duration of UG courses is around 3-4 years. The basic eligibility criteria for all UG courses are to complete the 10+2 from a recognized board of education.

Eligibility: Those candidates who are “Eligible for Higher Studies” as per the Higher Secondary Examination or a pass in the equivalent examination is the minimum criteria for admission to undergraduate programmes, unless otherwise specified. All Candidates qualified in the annual examination held up to and including the preceding academic years are eligible for admission. However, candidates who have qualified the HSE and VHSE of the Government of Kerala under ‘SAY’ scheme and Compartmental Examination of CBSE are also eligible for admission to first year undergraduate programmes in the same academic year.

Selection: BA, BBA, BCA, B.Com, B.Sc, BSW, BHMCT, B.Voc admissions are based on merit and conducted through a centralized admission process for UG programs (UGCAP) followed by a seat allotment process and BTech admissions are based on KEAM/JEE scores plus CAP.

An application fees to register online for admission is Rs.185/-for SC/ST and for others Rs. 445/-

Post Graduate Diploma in Coffee Quality Management

B.Sc. Poultry Production and Business Management at Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University

The KVASU came into existence on 14th June, 2010, as per Ordinance number 44/2010 and later Act 3/2011 of the Government of Kerala. The University hence is the product of continuous and genuine pursuit and sustained dream of many people, who initiated the efforts since the mid-nineties. The establishment is also the result of the recognition of the need to advance animal production sector activities and to widen the arena of academic opportunities, applied research and entrepreneurship in the field of animal health, production and allied subjects. The University is a public funded University with headquarters at Pookode, Wayanad, and the powers of the University are vested in its authorities –the Management Council and the Board of Management. The university has called up for admission 2023-2024 in B.Sc. (Poultry Production and Business Management).

Eligibility: For B.Sc. (Poultry Production and Business Management) 50 % marks in Plus two or VHSE of any stream.

Selection: The University will publish a rank list based on the marks secured by the candidates in the Entrance Examination conducted by the University at College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Mannuthy, Thrissur and College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Pookode, Wayanad. The selection for the BSc will be done from the corresponding rank list according to the rank, options and the reservation policies persist, through offline allotment process. The students have to attend the counselling process on the date notified by the University in the rank list.

An application fee of Rs.1000/- for General and Others and those candidates belonging to SC/ ST categories of Kerala origin should remit Rs. 500/- as the application fee (excluding bank processing charges). After remitting application fee, candidate should take the print out of the fee receipt

Eligibility: For P.G. Diploma in Climate Services in Animal Agriculture- M.V.Sc/ Ph.D./ B.V.Sc. & A.H. in the case of departmental/ Sponsored candidates. P.G. Diploma in Climate Services- B. Tech/ M. Tech/ M.Sc./ B.Sc. P.G. Diploma in Veterinary Cardiology BVSc & AH / BVSc and VCI registration. P.G. Diploma in Veterinary Anaesthesiology- BVSc & AH / BVSc and VCI registration.

Selection: For PG Diploma Programmes, the rank list is/are prepared based on the marks obtained by the students in the entrance examination conducted by the University.
