St. Teresa’s College (Autonomous) Ernakulam, Kerala, a pioneering institution committed to the cause of higher learning of women and their empowerment through excellence in teaching, learning and research, was established on 15th June 1925 by the Carmelite Sisters of St. Teresa under the leadership of the visionary foundress Servant of God, Mother Teresa of St. Rose of Lima. Applications are invited for admission to the Undergraduate Programmes, Integrated M.A. Programme in Social Science – Economics and UG Diploma Programmes at St. Teresa’s College (Autonomous), Ernakulam for the academic year 2023-24.

Eligibility: Academic eligibility should be satisfied as on the closing date of application for admission. In the case of candidates who have passed examinations of other Boards / Institutes / Governments, except CBSE/CISCE, they shall be admitted only if these examinations have been declared equivalent to the qualifying examinations of MG University and on production of the same i.e., eligibility/equivalency certificate. If an applicant for admission is found to have indulged in ragging in the past or if it is noticed later that he/she had indulged in ragging, admissions shall be denied or she shall be expelled from the educational institution. No candidate shall be admitted to the degree programme unless she possesses the qualifications and minimum requirements thereof. There is no age limit for applying to various UG programmes conducted in colleges affiliated to the University.

Selection: The selection criteria will be based on allotment. The allotment of seats will be based on the index marks obtained by the candidates.

B.Sc. Poultry Production and Business Management at Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University

The KVASU came into existence on 14th June, 2010, as per Ordinance number 44/2010 and later Act 3/2011 of the Government of Kerala. The University hence is the product of continuous and genuine pursuit and sustained dream of many people, who initiated the efforts since the mid-nineties. The establishment is also the result of the recognition of the need to advance animal production sector activities and to widen the arena of academic opportunities, applied research and entrepreneurship in the field of animal health, production and allied subjects. The University is a public funded University with headquarters at Pookode, Wayanad, and the powers of the University are vested in its authorities –the Management Council and the Board of Management. The university has called up for admission 2023-2024 in B.Sc. (Poultry Production and Business Management).

Eligibility: For B.Sc. (Poultry Production and Business Management) 50 % marks in Plus two or VHSE of any stream.

Selection: The University will publish a rank list based on the marks secured by the candidates in the Entrance Examination conducted by the University at College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Mannuthy, Thrissur and College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Pookode, Wayanad. The selection for the BSc will be done from the corresponding rank list according to the rank, options and the reservation policies persist, through offline allotment process. The students have to attend the counselling process on the date notified by the University in the rank list.

An application fee of Rs.1000/- for General and Others and those candidates belonging to SC/ ST categories of Kerala origin should remit Rs. 500/- as the application fee (excluding bank processing charges). After remitting application fee, candidate should take the print out of the fee receipt

Eligibility: For P.G. Diploma in Climate Services in Animal Agriculture- M.V.Sc/ Ph.D./ B.V.Sc. & A.H. in the case of departmental/ Sponsored candidates. P.G. Diploma in Climate Services- B. Tech/ M. Tech/ M.Sc./ B.Sc. P.G. Diploma in Veterinary Cardiology BVSc & AH / BVSc and VCI registration. P.G. Diploma in Veterinary Anaesthesiology- BVSc & AH / BVSc and VCI registration.

Selection: For PG Diploma Programmes, the rank list is/are prepared based on the marks obtained by the students in the entrance examination conducted by the University.
