The SIS-NLU is a coveted School of higher learning in Insurance which awards a Master Degree after putting in two years of rigorous studies. The post graduate programme is designed to lay emphasis on core management subjects such as finance and marketing integrated with various Insurance subjects. It is a two year fully residential program, which includes four to six weeks internship with Insurance companies (both life and non-life), Reinsurers and Intermediaries.

Eligibility: Candidate must have Minimum 50% marks in Class 10th and 12th and Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university with at least 50% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA. Candidates pursuing final examination of their Bachelor’s degree are eligible to apply.

Selection: : Admission shall be based on merit determined by calculating the following weightage: 50% for marks obtained in Graduation / in pre-final examination in case of candidates pursuing final examination of their Bachelor’s degree. The candidate must have appeared in CAT or MAT or CMAT and scored minimum-45 percentiles in case of CAT, 140 total score in case of CMAT, 300 composite score in case of MAT.

The KVASU came into existence on 14th June, 2010, as per Ordinance number 44/2010 and later Act 3/2011 of the Government of Kerala. The establishment is also the result of the recognition of the need to advance animal production sector activities and to widen the arena of academic opportunities, applied research and entrepreneurship in the field of animal health, production and allied subjects. The University is a public funded University with headquarters at Pookode, Wayanad, and the powers of the University are vested in its authorities –the Management Council and the Board of Management. The university has called up for admission 2023-2024 in B.Sc. (Poultry Production and Business Management).

Eligibility: For B.Sc. (Poultry Production and Business Management) 50 % marks in Plus two or VHSE of any stream.

Selection: The University will publish a rank list based on the marks secured by the candidates in the Entrance Examination conducted by the University at College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Mannuthy, Thrissur and College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Pookode, Wayanad.
