School Excellence Resource Development Workshop SchoolX 2026 Held at CIGI Campus

Kozhikode: The one-day School Excellence Resource Development Workshop – SchoolX 2026 was conducted on 12 August 2026 with the participation of 53 education professionals from across Kerala. Organized as part of an initiative to build a practical School Excellence Framework, the workshop aimed to support schools in improving overall quality and institutional performance.
The event commenced with a welcome address by School Excellence Project Director Sahad Keyi, followed by the presidential address from Dr. Muneer, Director of the Centre for Excellence in Education (CEE). The workshop was officially inaugurated by CIGI President Dr. A.B. Moideen Kutty.
Resource persons Swabir K.R., Principal of Calicut Girls’ VHSS, Kundungal, and Ashraf K.P., Principal of REC GVHSS, Chathamangalam, facilitated the interactive morning and afternoon sessions. The morning discussion centered on module development process, domains, and parameters of school excellence, while the afternoon session engaged participants in detailed group discussions and presentations across six key domains.
As a primary outcome, six specialized teams were formed to handle further module development for each domain. Once codified and reviewed by experts, the final School Excellence Framework will be made available for school implementation. CIGI General Secretary Dr. Z.A. Ashraf interacted with the attendees, and CIGI Chief Project Coordinator Rashid delivered the vote of thanks.
