CIGI Thalassery Taluk chapter Organizes Medical Admission Guidance Seminar

Thalassery: The Center for Information and Guidance India (CIGI) Thalassery Taluk Chapter organized a medical admission guidance seminar to raise awareness about the NEET UG 2026 entrance examination and its subsequent admission procedures. Held at the Thalassery Sargam Auditorium, the event witnessed active participation from numerous students and parents seeking clarity on medical career pathways.

The seminar was officially inaugurated by Dr. Rajana Dilnath, Secretary of the Indian Medical Association (IMA) Thalassery. The session was presided over by Chapter Vice President Soujath Teacher, while Secretary Zainuddin welcomed the gathering. Renowned career guide and NEET counseling expert Ramees Parual delivered the keynote address, simplifying the complex processes related to medical admissions and resolving various doubts raised by the attendees.

The event also saw felicitations from Nanma Welfare Secretary Abdul Rahim. Notable attendees included Kannur District KCWC Secretary Rafeena Mayyil and Jabir Sahib. The program concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by CIGI Thalassery Taluk Chapter Coordinator Rafeeda Majeed.

Life Skill Camp conducted For Students at CIGI Campus, Kozhikode

Kozhikode: The Centre for Information and Guidance India (CG) conducted a one-day training camp for orphaned and needy students under the Centre for Community Development. The camp was organised to develop the extra-curricular skills of students studying from Class VIII to XII and provide career guidance. The training camp was conducted under the SAFA project, which empowers orphaned and needy students. The training program was attended by the students of St Vincent, Free Birds, and Yateem Fund. Hamad Abdurahiman, Zakariya MV, Muneera, Sambira, and Jafar Sadiq lead the training program.

'CIGI-Sunrise' Fellowship of Rs 1 lakh for SSC-CGL aspirants

Kozhikode: The Centre for Information and Guidance India (CIGI) is providing a 'CIGI-Sunrise Fellowship' for deserving first-year undergraduate students preparing for central government jobs. The fellowship will be awarded to students who are preparing for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) examination conducted by the Staff Section Commission (SSC). Each selected student will get a fellowship of Rs 1 lakh. Students will be selected on the basis of prelims and mains exams and interviews conducted by CIGI. CIGI EXPA Scan students' token of love to Rahmania School for Handicapped, Kozhikode

Kozhikode: CIGI EXPA Scan 2022 students donated a smart TV and mic tower to set up an audio-visual room at Rahmania School for the Handicapped in Kozhikode. The smart TV and the mic tower were donated by the students who attended a three-day camp organized by CIGI for Indian students studying in schools abroad.

Rahmania School Principal Ashiq K. P. inaugurated the function. EXPA Scan student representatives Safa Nasser Mohamed, Ehsan Abdul Khader, Mohammed Fadi Shabeer, and Hashim Abdullah handed over the smart TV and mic tower to the representatives of Rahmania School. P.T.A president Habiba. T presided over the function, CIGI Kozhikode Women's Collective Chairperson Shabbira P T and EXPA Scan representative Ehsan Abdulkhader felicitated the audience. Rahmania School Headmistress Qamarulaila and Staff representative C. Ahmed Kutty delivered the welcome address and the vote of thanks respectively.
