"Society Needs Committed Volunteers," says Abdul Nasar B. IAS

Thiruvananthapuram: Abdul Nasar B. IAS, Additional Secretary of the Revenue Department of  Government of Kerala, opined that social workers and voluntary organizations who understand the needs of society and perform selfless service are what the country needs.

He was speaking at the inaugural ceremony of the closing ceremony of the 'CIGIRA,' organized by the Centre for Information and Guidance India (CIGI) as part of strengthening its socio-cultural and educational activities.

He added that CIGI's educational, social, and cultural development activities for the past two and a half decades are highly commendable, and that he is proud to be a CIGI volunteer.

The programme was held at the Trivandrum Cultural Center, Palayam, and was presided over by Dr. A.B. Moideenkutty, President-CIGI. Dr. Z.A. Ashraf, General Secretary-CIGI, presented CIGI's 'Vision 2030.' Mr. C.A. Muhammed Shafeeque, Cluster Chairperson, Dr. M.K. Abdul Majeed, Former Senior Scientist-ISRO, and Dr. B.F.H.R. Bijili, Former Chief Engineer, offered felicitations.

Mr. Sirajudheen Parambath, Mr. Noushad Velom, Mr. Shahid Elettil, Mrs. Shabbira PT, Mr. Zakariyya MV, Mr. Hussain P.A, Mrs. Nisha M.M., Mr. Sajid A. Kareem, Mr. Aslam M.A., Dr. Samsheer Ali, Mrs. Meharunnisa Anwar, and Mr. Anas Bichu spoke at various sessions of the programme.

Mr. Kabeer K.P, State Executive Committee member of CIGI, Mr. Nasar Mavoor, Mr. Jamaludheen T., and Mr. Abdul Hakeem participated in the programme.
