To obtain a police clearance certificate without the necessity of visiting a police station, you have the option to apply online using a smartphone, laptop, or computer. This Certificate of Non-Involvement in Criminal Offences is essential for various purposes such as employment, education, recruitment, and travel. This service is conveniently accessible through the official Kerala Police app called "Pol." Once you have installed and registered on the Pol app, you can upload the necessary documents by selecting the "Certificate of Non-Involvement in Offences" in the Service section.

Mandatory requirements for obtaining the certificate include uploading a passport-size photograph, a photo-printed identity proof, address-validation documents like Aadhaar, and digital copies detailing the requesting party and the purpose for which the certificate is being sought.
It's essential to proactively provide these documents, rather than relying on the district police chief or the station house officer to determine the certificate's necessity.

Upon submitting your details and documents, you will receive a link to make online payment of the required fees to the treasury. Once the fee is paid, you can proceed with submitting your application. Subsequently, the police will initiate an investigation into your application, following which the certificate will be issued. You can conveniently download and print the certificate from the app, eliminating the need to visit a police station.

A similar application process is available through the Una portal as well. However, it's important to note that when seeking a police clearance certificate for international travel, you must approach the relevant Passport Seva Kendra or Regional Passport Office.
