CIGI is crossing the milestone of 15 years of committed services to the society. We have quite a number of historic moments which gives us reminiscences of our hard but sweet journey during these years.

Our interventions in the educational and social fields especially among its downtrodden have drastically changed the scenario and have widely accepted. Students, teachers, parents, job seekers, organizations, institutions, govt. bodies and non governmental initiatives has made use of CIGI in various capacities and arenas and scientific career planning, educational guidance and counseling, psychological counseling, aptitude tests, competitive examination coaching units, civil service. Projects like SAGE, GRAND, Hikma and PRATHYASHA for social empowerment, projects like STEP and REVIVE or quality improvement of orphanages and projects like ‘VIJAYABHERI’ in cooperation with local bodies all gives us immense satisfaction.

Still there are many areas to be looked into and issues to be sorted out to lift our society to greater heights. These issues are making our nights sleepless. We cannot sleep without solving these problems. Let us dedicate ourselves once again for the well being of the community and development of our Nation. 15th anniversary is an occasion for celebrating our achievements and dedicating courageously for the unconquered. Let us join hands by hands under the colours of 15 point programmes to rejoice at this juncture.

Dr. K M Abubacker, M.Sc., Ph.D has been the founder President & Director of CIGI.He started his career as a  faculty member of Farook College, Kozhikode, in 1950 and retired as a senior scientist of the BARC (Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Govt. of India) Mumbai in Dec.1988.
